missingWrote a review on Dec 05comfy bedstreet facing
It was just a good match for a transient visit in Northallerton with definitely value for money. The room was street facing, and while there was some noise, it wasn't worse than expected for an old building. If you're sensitive to noise, ask for a room away from the street or aim for quieter nights.

Everything was amazing.

The location was ideal, situated right on the main street with shops and pubs nearby. The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. the other rooms didn't meet expectations as I didn't get assigned one of the advertised options. While the food was satisfying, particularly the fish and chips, the overall experience felt disappointing given the room quality.

didn't get breakfast at the hotel and it was noisy because of the bar below. curtains were not good at blocking light either.

A last-minute getaway turned out well with excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. The fish and chips were fantastic, though I noticed some noise from outside and the TV signal wasn't great. a pleasant experience that I’d consider repeating.

Really comfy room, super clean and tidy. The bed was nice to crash in after a day out. No bedside lamps though, that would’ve helped for late-night reading. Watch out for that noise from the bar below—it can get lively! But overall, it was a decent stay.

A Fun Stay with a Nightlife Vibe
We enjoyed our 2-night stay, especially the attentive service and vibrant atmosphere nearby. Though earplugs were needed due to the close proximity of the nightclub, the lively location added an exciting element. Don’t miss the excellent bar and restaurant nearby for a fantastic dining experience.

Charming, Charming, Charming.
I loved my spacious room filled with character! The sloping floors and creaking floorboards gave it such a cozy vibe. Plus, the fluffy towels were the cherry on top!

The location is absolutely spot on for exploring Northallerton! Found a gem for brekkie at Barkers Kitchen just down the road, and the staff were top-notch—very friendly and helpful.
Only minor hiccup was the noise from the pub below—definitely a lively spot! Would've been nice to have bedside lamps to make late-night reading easier.

Excellent location and lovely staff
We stayed for one night in a Deluxe Double Room and were really impressed with the warmth of the staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. The location is fantastic, right on the main street, making it easy to explore local shops and pubs. The fish and chips served in the restaurant are a must-try! Only downside was that the towels in the room felt a bit thin.
